Hola, soy María Susana Menchaca parte del Design Team de Nube de Papel, en este tutorial te mostraré cómo pintar una suculenta (la que viste en la portada de este blog).

Materiales:

Primero, dibujamos el boceto de la suculenta marcando todo el contorno previo a empezar a pintar. Puedes guiarte por la imagen que te dejé allí arriba.
First, we draw the sketch of the succulent, marking the entire outline before starting to paint. You can be guiaded by the image that I left you up there.
Luego, con la pastilla nº 645 el color verde Hooker oscuro diluimos el pigmento y empezamos a aplicarlo sobre la orilla de el pétalo de la suculenta y desde ahí con agua degradamos el color hacia un tono más claro. A continuación mientras el papel aún esté húmedo con el pigmento de la pastilla nº 370 el color rojo permanente claro, aplicamos desde el extremo opuesto del comenzado y así el color se esparcirá por sí solo.
Then, with the tablet nº 645, the dark Hooker green color, we dilute the pigment and begin to apply it on the edge of the petal of the succulent and from there with the water we degrade the color to a lighter tone. Then, while the paper is still wet with the pigment of the tablet nº 370 the light permanent red color, we apply from the opposite end of the started one and thus the color will spread on its own.
Ahora, continuamos aplicando el pigmento de ambos colores por el interior de la suculenta aprovechando que el papel se encuentre húmedo y así el pigmento se esparcirá, si gustas puedes guiar esto con ayuda de tu pincel.
Now, we continue applying the pigment of both colors to the inside of the succulent taking advantage of the fact that the paper is wet and so the pigment will spread, if you like you can guide this with the help of your brush.
Finalmente, damos una segunda capa a las zonas verdes para marcar la sombra. También pintamos un poco del borde exterior de la suculenta con un tono claro de rojo, para luego marcar con un color más saturado las orillas y contorno guiándonos por nuestro dibujo previo.

Finally, we give a second layer to the green areas to mark the shadow. We also paint a little of the outer edge of the succulent with a light shade of red, and then mark the edges and contour with a more saturated color, guiding us by our previous drawing.
