Hola a todos, en este tutorial les voy a mostrar algunas técnicas para crear texturas con acuarelas, que las pueden usar para fondos de tarjetas, journals, etc.
Hello everyone, in this tutorial I am going to show you some techniques to create textures with watercolors, which you can use for card backgrounds, journals, etc.

En la primer técnica vamos a usar sal sobre la acuarela húmeda. El resultado va depender mucho del tipo de pigmento, no todos los pigmentos reaccionan de igual manera ante la sal y también pueden experimentar con distintos tipos de sal, en este ejemplo yo uso sal común de mesa pero pueden usar sal marina, sal rosada, etc.
In the first technique we are going to use salt on the wet watercolor. The result will depend a lot on the type of pigment, not all pigments react in the same way to salt and you can also experiment with different types of salt, in this example I use common table salt but you can use sea salt, pink salt, etc.
En la segunda técnica voy aplicar acetona con una pipeta sobre la acuarela húmeda. También podemos usar alcohol en spray para conseguir otro tipo de textura.
In the second technique I will apply acetone with a pipette on the wet watercolor. We can also use alcohol spray to get another type of texture.
La tercer técnica consiste en aplicar un pedazo de plástico film sobre la pintura húmeda, pueden acomodar las arrugas del film a su gusto. Luego lo dejan sacar bien antes de retirar el plástico.
The third technique is to apply a piece of plastic film over the wet paint, you can accommodate the wrinkles of the film to your liking. Then they let it out well before removing the plastic.
En la cuarta técnica vamos aplicar una gasa sobre el papel húmedo. Y sobre la gasa húmeda vamos aplicar la acuarela. El resultado dependerá del tipo de pigmento, pueden experimentar con distintos colores.
In the fourth technique we are going to apply a gauze on the wet paper. And on the wet gauze we are going to apply the watercolor. The result will depend on the type of pigment, you can experiment with different colors.
En la quinta técnica utilizare stencil, pueden usar stencils con patrones repetitivos para crear fondos interesantes. Para eso vamos a necesitar toallitas húmedas de bebé. Vamos a pintar un fondo, dejamos secar y vamos apoyar el stencil, lo podemos fijar con una cinta de enmascarar para que no se mueva, y suavemente vamos a retirar el pigmento del papel frotando con la toallita húmeda.
In the fifth technique I will use stencils, you can use stencils with repeating patterns to create interesting backgrounds. For that we are going to need baby wipes. We are going to paint a background, let it dry and we are going to support the stencil, we can fix it with a masking tape so that it does not move, and we are going to gently remove the pigment from the paper by rubbing with the wet wipe.
